MANTRADE as it is now briefly and more popularly known, started as a corporation in 1906, primarily engaged in general merchandizing business, dealing with cotton goods, marine and gas engines, and marine hardware. In 1920, Mantrade dropped its other lines and exclusively concentrated on the automotive business. In 1984, Mantrade negotiated for a dealership franchise with Pilipinas Nissan. With the superior leadership of its President and CEO, Mr. Kurt S. Bachmann Jr., and with its 85 years of experience in automotive business, Nissan Mantrade is considered as one of the best dealers of Nissan in the country.
Despite the many difficulties it encountered, the Management of Nissan Mantrade has faith in its products and services, faith in its employees’ initiative and expertise, and faith in the capacity of this country to sustain an automotive company. On this faith, Nissan Mantrade's people are determined to forge a new horizon of progress and service.
